Tenute Casoli cultivates and transforms grapes from its own vineyards in the areas of production of the renowned DOCG wines: Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino and Taurasi. The winery is located in Irpinia, an area traditionally dedicated to the winemaking, where prestigious wines are produced and are renowned in the world for their high quality.
The estate includes approximately 13 hectares of vineyards. Moreover, it cultivates hazelnuts and native varieties of apples using organic farming methods.
In the vineyards, the harvest and all the agronomic activities such as pruning, trimming and ligation are performed manually.
The process of winemaking, the operations of wine aging and the refinement in the bottle are carried out in a historic mansion built in the late 18th century for a noble family in the small village of Candida (AV) in Irpinia.
In this building, grapes from nearby vineyards underwent the winemaking process already in the past. The mansion, heavily damaged during a major earthquake in 1980, has been extensively restored by the family that established and runs Tenute Casoli. The mansion includes some banquet halls, a tasting room and two holiday homes as well as a permanent exhibition about rural culture.
