Blend of Sangiovese and Merlot.
Intense brilliant ruby red colour with a
light purple hint. On the nose it offers
fruity hints of plum and red fruits,
refreshing balsamic and hematic notes,
followed by a scent of sweet spice. The
palate is round and persistent with
smooth tannins.
Good acidity and excellent balance
between the elements, making the wine
pleasantly succulent.
The aging has been carried out for 30%
in a new French oak barrique, the rest in
woods of 2nd or 3rd passage for 24
months.
