ESSENCE: The nose is intense, fruity with pleasant hints of blackcurrant, blackberry and light nuances of violet.
FLAVOUR: The bubbles are fine and lively; on the palate the sensations of fruits of the forest come out and a conspicuous tannicity is clearly perceived which makes the wine full-bodied and elegant.
PAIRINGS: Very pleasant with first courses based on meat sauces and/or red meat; it goes very well with fried meat, red meats and light roasts.
SERVING NOTES: we recommend tulip-shaped glasses or, for a pleasant informal alternative, white bowls/cup of the Piacenza tradition. The ideal serving temperature is 14°-16°C. - In tulip glasses, wide at the base and narrow at the end, at a temperature of 10-12° C.
