BLUMEA 2019

Casa Nocera is the flagship of our cellar. It comes from an unique vineyard “La Nocera“ having an area of 6 hectares, and the grapes are grown under the Guyot pruning system.
The harvest starts usually in the first ten days of September.
During the vinification, natural yeasts, long macerations, traditional pumping-over procedures with everything under a controlled temperature, all help to bring out the potential of the grapes and the soil which together contribute to the superior quality of Casa Nocera.
The wine ages in French oak barrels, where also the malolactic fermentation takes place, for about 18 months. We use new barrels for 50% of the agring time. From there, the wine is bottled and remains for another 18 months in the cellar, so completing the ageing process.
