Grapes: 80% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, 10% Trebbiano and Malvasia

Alcohol: 13.0% vol.

Training system: Guyot - Tuscan bow

Vine density per hectare: 4.000 - 5.000 plants

Harvest and vinification: Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes harvested by hand in early October and vinified in separate vats for 20 days.
Maturation: After racking, the wines are combined in steel barrels and matured for 18 months. After the above mass is added a 10% trebbiano and malvasia obtained with the modern cryomaceration technique

Organoleptic characteristics: color: brilliant ruby ​​red; perfume: very complex and persistent of red fruit reminiscent of cherry, marasca, raspberry and violet, with a return of very ripe white fruit; palate: in the mouth it is clean, soft and velvety, long and silky tannins that remain throughout the sip opposed by an elegant acidity.

Gastronomic combinations: Excellent with cheeses, cured meats, first and second courses of all kinds, grilled, roasted and stewed fish, up to oriental cuisines where it perfectly matches the exotic aromas of their dishes. Taste at 18 ° C uncorking the bottle a few hours before to better appreciate the bouquet.
