Colour : Ruby red. Smell: intense characteristic. Flavor : harmonic, typical floral scent and
intense,characteristic of red fruit.
Taste: luxurious, with a considerable structure and heavy tannins. Its flavour, together with an
agreeable acidity and a good alcohol content, gives a long and delicious aftertaste.
Scent:it reminds of cherries scent, morel, dewberry, sour black cherry and plum with hints of the
intense cinnamon aroma, vanilla, tobacco, violet and pepper. It’s a wine of meditation. It’s a Cru
directly vinification in oak barrels
Production zone: Borgomanero, Cureggio, in the province of Novara
Ground: sandy clay
Altitude: 350 mt on sea level
Harvest period: Second week of October.
Yield quintal/hectare: 90 quintals per hectare
Ageing: 18 months in Allier oak barrels and 6 months in barriques
Bottle ageing: minimum 9 months
Alc. by vol.: 13.00%.
