Diana Lacrima di Morro d'Alba 2018


Variety: Lacrima di Morro d’Alba 100%; Vines: 10 years in average, Southern exposure, 1420 vertical trellis guyot plants/acre; Soil: clay-calcareous, yields 3,2 metric tons/acre. Hand harvested with grapes selection starting beginning-September. Maceration : on skin 1,5 hours ; Fermentation: in steel tanks with controlled temperature with frequent pumping; Aging: 3 months on lees in steel tank and 2 months in bottle. Intense rose colour, with a scent of violet, rosehip and some pepper. The wine displays crisp, bright scents of berries with deep layered mineral and pepper notes. This Rosè is enhanced when accompanied by pasta, pizza and light second courses such as white meats or grilled fish and the traditional brodetto (cioppino of the Le Marche region).
