“AMPELOGRAFIC” BASE OF THE VINEYARDS: Exclusively native vines, consisting mainly of various selected clones of SANGIOVESE, CANAIOLO BLACK, CILIEGIOLO and COLORINO.

VINIFICATION: In stainless steel containers using the latest in modern technology.

AGING TECHNIQUES: For the aging of the wine (as per the choice of the ampelographical base) was made a precise choice designed to exploit to the maximum the characteristics of our enviable grape varieties, then without the use of techniques such as Barrique or Tonneau, which tend to standardize odors and flavors. The Francesco Chiostri Chianti Classico is distinguished by the technique of its aging in large oak casks of 10 and 20 hl for a minimum period of six months, with a further refinement in the bottle for at least 2 months before being marketed.
With the choices taken we have obtained a genuine wine, elegant complex where its “organolettiche” characteristics enhance the land, the vines, spicy scents of the typical Chianti environment.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINE: Balsamic notes and tones of orange peel are the prelude to a drinking: convincing and harmonic. Surprising for the atypical freshness for the vintage 2014. Fragrances ethereal: berry and floral fragrance.
The great balance between the components: aromatics, chemicals and the alcohol, makes the "Francesco Chiostri 2014" a wine that does not dominate or the palate or the table, but instead turns out to be a perfect and pleasant companion to many dishes, especially: the red meats; the game, the strong and mature cheese, but not only ......
