Friularo Vendemmia Tardiva DOCG 2013

Type: Red

Friularo di Bagnoli DOCG - Late Harvest
Unique wine of its kind, it stands out for its marked personality and expression, the result of a manual harvest in late November when the bunches are covered with the first frost and a higher concentration of sugars and polyphenols is obtained in the grape.

Typology: Bagnoli Classico D.O.C.G. Friularo "Late Harvest".
Grapes: Friularo (local biotype of Raboso, unique in the D.O.C.G Bagnoli area).
Alcoholic strength: 13.5 ° - 14.5 ° (depending on the vintage).
Aging: Matured in large oak for 28 months and further refinement in the bottle for at least 12 months.
Shelf life: The high concetration of extracts allows it to be best appreciated even after 20 years from the year of harvest.

Organoleptic description:
Color: Ruby red, very intense, with reflections that tend to granate with the progress of maturation.
Smell: Intense, fruity, with characteristic notes of marasca cherry, ripe red fruit and jam and spices.
Taste: Full, austere, with strong hints of sour cherry and plum in syrup, ripe tannins are highlighted maintaining a typically fresh finish.

Consumption occasions: A wine with multiple facets that can be tasted without the need to match or sublimate it with boiled meats, braised fat and succulent meats, seasoned fat cheeses and all dishes that offer great richness in taste and flavor.
Serving temperature: 16 ° - 18 ° C.
