AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO DOCG


"Amarone" ... with a deep garnet red color, a dry and harmonious flavor, is a full-bodied wine with an intense and complex aroma.
To enhance its wonderful characteristics, it is aged in small oak barrels for many months.



AREA OF ORIGIN: crops chosen from the best areas of the Classic Valpolicella.

TRAINING SYSTEM: Pergola Trentina with a density of 3000 plants per hectare.

GRAPES: Corvina (65%), Rondinella (25%), Molinara (10%).

YIELD PER HECTARE: 25 hl. of wine with a yield of 70 quintals of grapes.

GRAPE HARVEST: after the harvest, in October, the best bunches are dried on wooden plateaux until January.

VINIFICATION: by destemming and crushing. Subsequently in stainless steel, at a controlled temperature of 15-20 ° C, for about 35-40 days.

AGING: in Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months and another 6 in bottle.
Storage life: 6-8 years.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

COLOR: deep garnet red.

BOUQUET: jam and black cherries in alcohol.

TASTE: full, intense, round.

SERVICE TEMPERATURE: it is recommended to uncork the bottle 1 hour before and serve it at 18 ° -20 ° C -
PAIRING: important red meats, game of various kinds, aged cheeses.
