Borgo Casa al Vento is the result of a skilful restoration done by the Gioffreda family who in the early 90s restored this wonderful, quite hidden jewel in the territory of Gaiole in Chianti, the land of the Eroica, now popular vintage bycicle race. Traveling along the backroads, you leave the city streets and concrete buildings, to enter the heart of the most authentic Tuscan countryside. It extends for about 15 hectares and renovated from the old rubble, about 60 beds, 1 restaurant and 2 swimming pools and a tennis court. Around the property there are vineyards completely replanted in the early 90s and the company has about 6.5 hectares of which 5 hectares of Sangiovese for the production of 3 Chianti Classico DOCG and 1.5 hectares of Merlot for the production of the IGT red. All the production is Organic
